I’m Nic, an autistic Occupational Therapist and the founder of Kintsugi OT, where I work exclusively with autistic adults using a blend of clinical reasoning and lived experience.
My approach centres safety, autonomy and practical changes that make everyday life more sustainable, meaningful and genuinely suited to the person.
Kintsugi OT is a neuroaffirming Occupational Therapy practice for autistic adults who are tired of pushing through lives that do not fit.
Support focuses on reducing overload and building practical, sustainable ways of living that honour your nervous system, needs and autonomy.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing pottery with gold, honouring its history rather than hiding it. This philosophy guides our work with autistic adults who want to stop pushing through and build a life that feels more sustainable, honest and their own.
Kintsugi OT is a telehealth-first practice supporting autistic adults across Australia. Telehealth reduces travel, sensory load and time pressure, allowing sessions to happen in a more familiar and regulated environment.
In-person appointments are also available every Thursday at the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network clinic.
